My Essential Fall Outfit

Initial Necklace | Puffer Vest (coming soon to GAP) | Striped Long Sleeve | Aviators
Stud Earrings | Chevron Ring | Gray Crossbody Bag
Essie in Bobbing for Baubles | Boyfriend Jeans | Patent Black Wedges

I know that it is still technically summer and that the temperatures are still hot and humid, but I don't even care. I am anxiously and excitedly awaiting the arrival of the Fall Season! (exactly 43 days from today) It is my absolute favorite time of the year! One of the best things about Fall is the weather that just begs for awesome, comfy, cozy, stylish outfits! Thus, I decided to share what my essential, must-have, ideal Fall outfit looks like! There should be no surprise that stripes, sparkly studs and rolled boyfriend jeans are included...I. Love. Them. The only thing I would add to this would be a scarf, but seeing as though I usually just choose one as I walk out the door, I could not make up my mind for one to put here. I guess it's safe to say that I have 43 days to figure out which one to choose! Here's to getting ready for Fall!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy, my 2nd favorite holiday of the year, 4th! There's nothing quite like celebrating America, freedom, family, and friends on a beautiful day in July! The fireworks, aren't too bad either. (And by that, I mean they are my FAVORITE!)

My family has done 4th of July in a big way for...well, for as long as I have been alive. We all, family and friends alike,  gather at my Aunt and Uncle's house. It is always fun to see who shows up, and how many! I think the count this year was 70+. A great turnout!

This year in comparison to other years, had a super laid-back, chill kind of vibe, and it was wonderful! There were little ones everywhere, the pool was a popular place, there was a baseball game in the backyard, and the patio chairs were filled with folks chatting and enjoying the evening! The weather was beautiful and the food was abundant. I think maybe our party could've given The Golden Corral some competition! I was lucky to get to contribute to the buffet o' deliciousness with a few dishes of my own...who wants cake batter cheese ball and coconut creme mini cupcakes?! They were both SO good!

As usual, the evening was capped off with a fun and beautiful display of sparkles in the sky, or as most people refer to them, fireworks! I will forever and always be a fan!

The day was super enjoyable, and it didn't hurt that I finally got to wear my "4th of July" dress after almost two weeks of waiting. I know, it seems silly, but I couldn't help but be excited!

Dress: Old Navy
Shoes: Kohl's
Studs: mine from a few years ago, similar ones here

Cute outfits, fireworks and BBQs are great, however that is not all that this day is about. It is only proper that I express my gratitude to all of our military men and women who serve our country daily. They defend our country with honor and great sacrifice. Thank You!

Happy Independence Day, everyone!

The 5: Top 5 Designer Accessories I Would Kill to Own!

If I were a rich girl (na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na...sorry couldn't resist a song reference). Let me try again. If I could have unlimited access to designer fashion, these are the top 5 most coveted, sought after items I would look for and thus, must-have purchases that I would make. (Thanks to InStyle, Lucky, and Teen Vogue back in the day, years of research have been compiled into this one little list!)

Let me additionally preface this by saying, that this round is precisely about accessories because, well, I am an accessories girl. (Clothing pieces are a whole other conversation.) Always have been. Probably always will be! They make an outfit. Seriously, they just do.

1. A Balenciaga City Bag

Balenciaga Classic Town Bag in Black

2. A pair of classic Christian Louboutin pumps
(...okay, and maybe a crazy fun pair, too! Aahhh, that signature red heel, it speaks to me!)

Pigalle Patent Pump in Black

Fifi Strass & Spikes Pump

3. A Classic Louis Vuitton Handbang

Speedy 30 Bag

4. A Cartier Watch

Ballon Bleu de Cartier Watch

and last but not least...

5. A Tiffany & Co. Diamond Necklace

Elsa Peretti Diamond by the Yard Necklace

So, there they are, in all their glory. My top 5 classic pieces. Now all I need to is to access that imaginary Burberry trench coat of mine to wear with them! That would be a killer outfit, no?!
